La Crosse County adopted the NG911 Wisconsin state standard for road centerlines in 2022. La Crosse County is in the process of switching road types from legacy to new state standard types. The data has attribute names with \"Legacy\u201d fields, which is where past road type designations will be listed. These are referencing the way the data is/was in the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) and may differ that what is currently and commonly used as the authoritative road centerline data. For example, when La Crosse County adopted the state NG 9-1-1 standards the road types such as County Highway may have previously been known as County Road or County Trunk.
